My weed warrior came with two blade sets. They were surprisingly durable and able to cut through thick knot weed and other brush. I purchased these replacement blades because they were inexpensive and looked just like the originals. When I first used them I was surprised. They lasted less than 10 minutes. I thought I must have hit a stone so I tried again. Despite the fact that they look identical, these blades must be made of a different type of plastic, because they shatter easily instead of gradually wearing down. I went through 27 of the 30 blade pack to finish one job.This is part of a larger problem. We are seeing more and more products on Best Buy without identifiable brands or manufacturers. Or worse, the exact same product advertised multiple times under different, and probably fictitious, brand names. I would like to avoid the manufacturer who made these lookalike blades in the future, but have no way to identify them. For my part, I will be very hesitant to buy another product without recognizable branding.
