This is definitely a nice and interesting novelty and it does a great job of drawing circles. A few things though: 1. The standard compass makes this work much easier and more convenient. There's a reason compasses aren't obsolete.2. The hole does not close completely, leaving a hole of at least 1cm. This means you cannot draw circles less than 1cm in diameter.3. Note that given the design of this device, where the hole is made up of overlapping metal plates, the points where one metal plate intersects with another will result in the circle you draw having small, jagged edges. It's not particularly noticeable and the circles look decent overall, but if you're picky about things like this you'll definitely notice. Overall, I'm happy with this product as a novelty, but it's nowhere near a serious drawing/drawing tool.
