I bought this for kids thinking they could use it to make Christmas decorations for others, but it's fun for adults too. I combined them with both wood decorations and paper that starts out black and when you scratch on it other colors come out so the kids had the opportunity to choose color combinations on the wood and were surprised on the stationery which ones colors appeared. Great fun for all ages in our family.

I love this set! It's fun to play with them. {with all sorts of different environments.} I have so many ideas! I haven't tried them with temporary glue yet; but seems like they work fine with one. They're pretty easy to wash. One of mine is still a bit smudged with metal markers. They are pretty easy to wash with baby wipes. I love making mandalas and I love that I can play with them. They also make great little Happy Thought frames!

Nice stencil set. I have sooo many stencils because I can't draw, but I love planning, journaling and crafting. I use templates to fill in the gaps in what I can and can't do. This is a good multi pack of mandalas. Each is different from standard Mylar so it should hold up and the price is reasonable. The Stencils are starting to go up in price and this is a good group for the money. Small enough for rock art (with a decent rock) but big enough for art journals and planners.

What a clever idea to take your mandalas from stencils instead of a printed book. Instead of just using them as a calming coloring book, you can apply the patterns to almost anything. Want a mandala on your fashion design? Here please. Want to burn one into a wood project? Please. Pumpkin mandalas? Yes, please. I'm kind of a caveman with limited imagination, but luckily my wife and kids have enough creativity to fill my gaps. It's so funny to see what everyone is doing with it.

I bought these for kids to draw on 3.5 inch flat wood pattern discs. They fit well, but all fit well when properly centered. Of course, they will work well on many different surfaces. They are thin and flexible so you can use them for something round. I would have liked them to be a bit thicker so that the details stay in place better when using brushes. However, this is actually only a problem for younger children, since they are not yet as precise and gentle when filling in the template…

These mandalas are smaller - slightly larger than most rocks you paint on, but you can draw the first rings of the design for a similar effect. Although perfect for coasters! My 10 year old and I are just starting to learn mandalas and I've had a lot of fun doing it. You don't get any other tools or supplies, but you don't need them either.
