I thought this new model would outperform the 800 PS4 model I sold to get this one. Unfortunately, this "premium" headset isn't even wireless, you must be fully connected to this puck, including the headset plugged into it. Actually the 800 was wireless and the sound and looks were much better. This is the first time that a newer model seems to be less good than the previous version. Even the cable was cheap - the zip ties holding the cables together in the box cut off the protective covering of the cables in the box so much that I had to tape them over to cover the exposed wires/shielding. It works in the end, but 800 is 100 times better.
