This is my first purchase of this type of microphone. I wanted a quality microphone but didn't want to pay a lot. I already have experience with lavalier microphones. I used them to record videos for a karate school. I also made videos from our family camps. I needed a good quality microphone because my webcam I bought for my new 16 inch Macbook Pro was performing poorly and I needed something better for large meetings and video recording. This mic did not disappoint. I had concerns about the quality. because it was so affordable, but I had no problems. We've been using it daily for over a week and it's still working great.
