Okay, I promise myself this will be the last time I buy tech products based on Revain reviews (unless the review is from someone who can be trusted, such as Engineer Lee Batteries). I mean, I get it - most people here have no idea how these things are supposed to work and so just can't give an idea of what's going on. Or it could be sellers downloading fake reviews - for example, this is the exact same strip as the $13 strip from this link (copy and paste it into your browser's address bar): http://www. amazon.com/gp / product /B00M0XFYHE/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00M0XFYHE&linkCode=as2&tag=codeproject-20&linkId=V62WWMCS2QZGBHWHFor Wii sensor bars, only the type of IR LEDs inside counts - how strong the LED is and how many are there. I can't tell you how powerful (in lumens) these LEDs are, but I can tell you there are 3 of them on each side (6 in total). On the official Nintendo panel, there are 5 on each side (10 in total). how can i check it All you need is a smartphone with video mode (so you can "see" IR). Follow the instructions on the Nintendo website: [.] So will this panel work fine for 80% of users? Of course - it's a simple product - it has 6 IR LEDs that turn on when you connect it to the Wii. Is this a good buy and can you use it from more than 2.5-2.5m away? Of course not. If you need to fix the game quickly, even 2 candles will work better than these cheap 6 LED panels (but be careful not to burn down your house innocently ;): [.] The funny thing is that refurbished Nintendo panels are expensive. $7.50. A new one costs $10. If Nintendo only had these products here on Revain instead of in their own store ($5 shipping), buying Wii hardware would be a lot easier:[.]
