Not as good as the Nintendo touchpad (not many LEDs)

I think it worked well for the first month or so, but soon its range was very limited. I have to be very close to the sensor bar. Also, the pointer (I'm sure it has a different name) jumps across the screen. To see if it was my Wii remote, I lit two candles and used them as homemade IR emitters. Wow, I was amazed at how well this worked! I later found out that this is not the same as the original Nintendo sensor bar as it only has three IR LEDs on each side where Nintendo has five.

Wired IR Sensor Panel Review

I bought this when our sensor panel for our old Wii broke and decided to try one of the universal panels. It works and looks the same as the old one. Nobody would have ever guessed that this wasn't the game that came with the Wii. The only problem is that there is no tape on the stand but some foam that looks like it's meant to stick? Not sure what it is but the last time our pole fell off the top of our TV the cord snapped and we had to get a new one. So you have to be liable. So now it's…

  • Expandable

I use it on the original white Wii. The bar seems to be working fine. I didn't notice any difference between this panel and the original panel that came with the Wii. The included plastic stand was broken in the package. I just glued it back on and while it's a bit difficult to snap the stand onto the sensor bar, once attached it seems like it stays attached. However, the stand easily detached from the trunk when I accidentally dropped it about four feet to the cement floor. However, my gluing…

Knowledge is Power Don't Believe 5 Star Reviews

Okay, I promise myself this will be the last time I buy tech products based on Revain reviews (unless the review is from someone who can be trusted, such as Engineer Lee Batteries). I mean, I get it - most people here have no idea how these things are supposed to work and so just can't give an idea of what's going on. Or it could be sellers downloading fake reviews - for example, this is the exact same strip as the $13 strip from this link (copy and paste it into your browser's address bar)…
