According to the package, the official Microsoft gamepad is compatible with Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows 10, Android, and iOS. The controller was purchased to replace an Xbox 360 gamepad used with a Chinese receiver, and can only be used with Windows 10. First off, let me say that I am running the latest version (20H2) of Microsoft's Licensed Axis software. The gamepad's Bluetooth connectivity was a breeze on MSI and LENOVO notebooks. As an added precaution, I downloaded the "Xbox Accessories" app from the Microsoft Store (I'm not sure if this is required to properly connect the gamepad to Windows, but it is required to update the gamepad's firmware and set up custom profiles). The firmware update (through USB) was installed instantly. In-game testing has been conducted in Forza 4, GTA 5, RDR 2, and Hollow Knight. I know it's not a long list, but rest assured, there were zero issues with any of the games included. The gamepad's ergonomic design and well-thought-out placement of all its controls have been praised numerous times in these comments. Strongly suggest you buy. My son really likes it, so I want to buy another one.
