the nut embedded inside the plastic was stripped as I installed this on my bike, was not able to tighten, I solved the problem by placing a washer between the plastic and the nut and it screwed fine it holds so far after a few 30+ mile rides on rough terrain. Looks good. Update, the seller contacted me to send a replacement with new improved design for the bar ends. Also received some presta valve covers as a gift, Best customer service I’ve had on amazon. The new bar ends for perfectly and did not have an issue tightening to a snug fit!
