I read through the reviews and was a bit skeptical of some locking end plugs for 9 bucks, especially since others had mentioned that they stripped out or broke on the install. I lost an end plug on a rough trail to a tree last week and was in need of something better and quick for my full suspension, so I looked around on revain. I've done 2 rides with these and they've stayed put. You just need to make sure that they're in there tight, not forcing the included Allen wrench to over tighten…

This is a cheap fix and the colorful plating is just that. Cheap. Mine came already scratched and I imagine after a couple rides in the woods they will be silver.

On two bikes so far, when the tightening bolts are at maximum, they will not stay in my 25.4mm handlebars. With grips on, they will attach to the rubber overhang of the grip, but not the handlebar itself.

These things look sweet and are functional. I just installed some 3.2 mm lizard skins and the plastic end plugs it came with had a hard time handling the thick tape. This design allows you to hold the plug in position while you screw it in to secure it exactly as you want. Never messing with plastic plugs again.

These are small they feel very cheap and look like they are for a children's bicycle they don't not seem like they will protect your handle bar end at all cheaply made

Great looking bar plugs for my road bike! These plugs work well at holding in the bar tape, a problem that I have had with the plugs that come with new bar tape.

the nut embedded inside the plastic was stripped as I installed this on my bike, was not able to tighten, I solved the problem by placing a washer between the plastic and the nut and it screwed fine it holds so far after a few 30+ mile rides on rough terrain. Looks good. Update, the seller contacted me to send a replacement with new improved design for the bar ends. I love my aerobars (Platt P Bike Carbon Fiber In TT Handlebars) and these fit well within them! I'm sure they will work for most handlebar openings since they tighten WELL by simply turning the screw. They definitely STAY PUT. I've put these to the test with many, many, many miles of flat, hilly, and sometimes bumpy roads.

They match the bike very well.Pretty durable. They've taken a couple good hits and still are going strong. That's my review.
