I received this helmet (USPS is terrible in my area as they are lazy) later than expected but it's not the carrier's fault. Considering the price paid, this was a STEAL! The quality is exceptional. The headband is very comfortable, functional and easy to use even with a heavy hand in a welding glove. As well as a self-dimming mechanism that works as advertised. I would advise you to remove the transparent shipping protection upon receipt (it prevents the sensors from working properly), some people may forget to remove this film. There are three pin holes on each side of the helmet to adjust the hood angle up/down. Choose one of these three positions to adjust the angle of the helmet when it's flipped up. Other than that it has worked exceptionally well with no disappointments in the device I received. I welded to 220 amps and it worked very well. I am very happy with this purchase (it's a really nice helmet and the finish is very good). Really good deal with quality that exceeds its price. Many Thanks.
