Quality, Functionality, Fashion, Fun

I've spent a lot of time understanding what I want from a dog stroller and I'm completely satisfied with this stroller. I have a 12 lb Havana dog awaiting knee surgery. I needed a wheelchair that he could "walk" in with a backpack both before and after the operation. This stroller is perfect. I'm 5ft 7" and the stroller handles fit me. I can walk normally and stand upright while pushing a stroller. The rear wheels don't bother my legs when walking. My wrists are in a comfortable, flat, forward position. The dog is secured in the stroller with two nylon straps attached to its harness, one on each side, which attach to the underside of the stroller seat. The straps are exactly where the dog can stand, sit or lie down while riding and absolutely cannot jump out. He can walk but cannot put his front feet on the edge of the wheelchair. The ride is smooth enough for plastic wheels and maneuverability is excellent. I put a blanket on the bottom of the stroller because the seat is soft but not soft or warm. Assembly is extremely easy, just snap on the wheels. The fabric seems strong enough. The stroller is easy to fold up. Press the button and at the same time turn the handle mechanism in the middle of the handlebar and the stroller will fold. A hook located on one side of the frame snaps around the other side of the frame to keep the stroller folded for storage. The folding mechanism in the center of the steering wheel doesn't interfere with pushing the stroller (and the stroller won't accidentally fold if you push it with one hand while holding the mechanism). The foot brake on a bar between the rear wheels is very easy to lock and unlock, and the locked stroller is secure enough that my three other dogs tied to it won't move if we stop and the brake is on. The basket at the bottom is just right for carrying gloves, bags, phone, etc. The drink holder on the handle seems a bit silly. I haven't worn it. I think any bottle will fall out on the first hit or tip. Two of my pictured dogs (8-14 pounds) fit in the stroller together. But I don't think a dog attached to just one strap on one side is secure, so I'll close the top if I'm seating two dogs (or find a more secure attachment with bungee cords). The zipperless top is a great feature and it works well. This is an excellent product and a lot of fun. (The peas alone cost $80.)
