Used to cut SteelTek structural steel (black). I made about 6 cuts and only one was crooked. I am a large freakishly strong person and it might have been impatience or lack of skill but I would not say this "cut steel like butter.” If I had to make more cuts than 5-10 for my project or felt I would use this more frequently, I would definitely consider a higher grade version for steel.Ultimately for this single project I’m happy I didn’t have to spend $50-$100 on a single-use tool to cut $50 worth of material.
