USB hub without external power supply

This USB hub has no external power supply. The product description says "Powered USB Hub Splitter 3.0" with "Power Supply: Micro USB Power Supply". The USB hub has neither a power connector nor a micro-USB connector for power supply. This hub works with a mouse, keyboard, webcam, flash drives and a limited hard drive, but will not work when connected to more than 2 hard drives (where you need a powered USB hub). Edit: stopped working after a few weeks. Unable to connect to a USB device (e.g. keyboard or mouse).
