I will give this product five stars but I have hesitated to do so. I love the company, I love the pink they use and I have a lot of their pink containers and the like at home. However, my first box arrived broken. Usually I'm lucky, this time I wasn't so lucky. I needed this box and then had to order another one and wait again, I also had to deal with the hassle of returning it. Super annoying. Then when the replacement arrived it was warped (a common problem). The lid didn't lay flat and the sides buckled. The company is not helpful. Email, social media, they don't care. The tagged photos will be reposted throughout the day, but they will not be able to answer the question of how to fix the deformation. However, I found a solution. I usually start by pouring some room temperature water into the container just to avoid banging. I don't know if sudden melting or tearing will happen, I just don't want to risk it. Then slowly pour boiling water over it. For this particular container I had to refill the kettle several times so it took a while but I think this gives the best results. I just try to push and pull the box, sometimes with spoons or spatulas (it's boiling water, after all!). Once the container was full, I poured some water over it and placed heavy objects on it. I leave it for ten minutes. I then turned on the faucet and poured cool water over the top and sides. Then I started replacing the hot water with cold water. It has worked time and time again to fix the warp, but for the price I didn't have to do anything.
