This is the only shower adapter sized to extend the faucet beyond granite tile walls. Thank god Revain wears it! When we installed our new shower system, the faucet pipe was installed 1 inch behind the cement slab and granite on top. We used an angular bracket where the round shower could go into the hole. (but set back by 1 inch, so not the best solution either). We needed a short connector that would extend the shower arch to the granite surface so the shower holder would fit into the spout. After looking at the big stores (ALL), their only solution would be to buy two things that go together. terrible decision as together they would add 2 inches and thus extend the arm about 1 inch past the shower screen. Perfect, high-quality workmanship, it was the perfect and only possible solution. If you are remodeling a shower in stone then you will need this fitting unless you don't mind a 1 inch shorter round shower arm. If your shower is square, it won't fit at all without this faucet. I am attaching a photo of the problem this fixture solved for us. Thank you for making it available on Revain! Without it, the shower head and faucet wouldn't fit properly in a new shower with the same problem. I hope the photo and review will help others looking for the same solution because we bought it blindly hoping it will work and it works!
