Adapter for connecting pipes or fittings of different types. Male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end and female NPT threads on the other for connecting pipes with different ends. Please see NPT Thread - chart to determine the correct size required. Pipe Size and actual Thread OD are different. The Thread OD is larger than the Pipe Size. Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Operating temperatures range from -53 to 121 degrees C (-65 to 250 degrees F). Meets specifications ASTM B584 and ASME/ANSI B16 for quality assurance. These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.

Another high quality Anderson hardware.

I have purchased several Anderson faucets over the past year. It looks like boxes of them of different sizes and shapes. Overall, I found them remarkably good. Maybe not perfect, but definitely MORE than just "good enough". I needed this NPT adapter to install a relief valve on a 3/8" high pressure pipe. It worked better than I had hoped. The fit is good and the thread is NPT spec. I have a couple of fittings this year Bought which are NOT to the NPT spec but NEVER an Anderson fitting. They…

The only shower adapter that will extend a shower faucet beyond granite tile walls

This is the only shower adapter sized to extend the faucet beyond granite tile walls. Thank god Revain wears it! When we installed our new shower system, the faucet pipe was installed 1 inch behind the cement slab and granite on top. We used an angular bracket where the round shower could go into the hole. (but set back by 1 inch, so not the best solution either). We needed a short connector that would extend the shower arch to the granite surface so the shower holder would fit into the spout…

Warning, version 1/4-1/4 is subject to product changes that may be critical.

I have received 2 different versions of the 'same' fitting 6120-0404. The version available in 2017 (still from old stock) had an overall length of 1.25 inches. The newer version is 1" long but they cut the fitting all the way down to 1/4 NPT. The male part was reduced by 1/4". The first one I tried showed no torque which from experience seemed sealed until the hex part touched the bottom.This may cause it to eventually leak or loosen and leak due to improper tightening in the thread area.I…
