Review on 💪 Efficient Anderson Metals Female Fitting Adapter: Unmatched Performance for Plumbing and Piping Systems by Adam Taylor

I have received 2 different versions of the 'same' fitting 6120-0404. The version available in 2017 (still from old stock) had an overall length of 1.25 inches. The newer version is 1" long but they cut the fitting all the way down to 1/4 NPT. The male part was reduced by 1/4". The first one I tried showed no torque which from experience seemed sealed until the hex part touched the bottom.This may cause it to eventually leak or loosen and leak due to improper tightening in the thread area.I took some photos and will post them here.The low rating for the product is based on a review of the old and new versions. The 2017 1.25" version fitted very well and exactly as expected. The hex is really long and longer than necessary. Anderson Metals could trim the hex and that would be fine in my case. This may have affected the internal threads. Depth but if that was an issue they could share the change in length between the two ends. Since I am very disappointed with the new product, where-how would I rate the 2017 version 5 stars. I would say the new version is 2 stars. Also, at the time I bought it, Revain was only being sold in increments of one customization. We all know Prime includes shipping, but shipping isn't actually free. That means if you want 10 customizations, you're basically handling the shipping for each piece shipped separately. This is not a good price.
