Review on ⏱️ Pro Digital 4-Event Timer by Taylor Precision Products by Angie Miller

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great design concept but not Taylor quality.

Below is my first review. I ended up updating. I have purchased several products of this type over the past few decades, including several others from Taylor. This may be my favorite of them all, although going forward I'll keep it as an absolute statement. Since I haven't owned it for so long, I have some doubts about its durability. It doesn't appear to be as durable as previous Taylor timers. But the functionality is great! Easily toggle between four events on a 6 digit display, countdown settings to seconds (not minutes), total time up to 99:59:59 with seconds showing even after 24 hours! I don't know of any other budget timer with these features. A couple of criticisms: If I place the timer on a vertical metal surface (fridge), the magnet won't be strong enough. It prevents the device from falling but doesn't maintain alignment and the timer goes out of level. Since I don't plan to use this feature, it's not a negative for me personally. But you should be aware of this shortcoming if it is important to you. Also, I would like it to use standard AAA or AA batteries instead of the button cells used. Update after a few months: I would not buy this device again. I realized that this is not up to Taylor's standards. This is probably a rebranded Chinese product. it's weak The stand is unlikely to survive a year of careful use. Upon delivery, the LCD will show signs of a low battery. It just looks cheap. Buttons do not respond. I would say the design concept is good. The implementation leaves a lot to be desired. Not Taylor quality.

  • So far, so good
Cons
