Review on 🚗 Dorman 926-469 Dashboard Instrument Bezel Assembly: A Perfect Fit for Dodge Models! by John Caldwell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Almost perfect for dashboards

I say almost because the dotted line isn't quite flush with the edges. It's about 1/8 inch shy. However, it fits perfectly onto the dash studs and snaps into place fairly easily. Just like factory. I did not notice any cracks or deformations during installation. He was in the truck for several months from April to August and didn't mind the heat at all. You have to pull the moving parts of the air vent out of the old instrument panel in order to put them back in place. The one outside. there was some looseness next to the driver's door but it looks like the original air vent was done wrong to begin with so I can't blame the frame that was replaced but for now the air vent seems to stay in the recess . The color is darker anthracite than the original, but my old Dodge 1500 from 2000 probably has some tarnish on the dashboard. The knurling isn't as pronounced either, giving it a more matte look, which frankly makes it a bit more modern. It definitely refreshed the old dash that was finally starting to crack, crack and chip off big chunks all over the place typical of the broken bezels on these old trucks. It's worth the extra money for a complete, no-hassle replacement. After installing the old air vents and the new clips to match the original factory direction and spacing, it took me just 30 seconds to snap them into the dash. Best update I've made to that rusty old bucket!
