I was looking for an alternative flash with TTL support for the Fuji X-T1 and it works great. It's half the size of my manual-only Yongnuo 560-III and twice the weight of the Nissin. The flash head moves in all directions and has good resistance, so it is not easy to move. A nice bonus is the front video light. Not as bright as it could be, but enough when you need to isolate an object about three feet (or a meter) away from you. A video light works for video interviews, but it doesn't emit more light. Perfect for a slightly darkened environment, but don't count on it putting out the same amount of light as the main flash. If you set the flash to "SF" for "slave film", you can check the box via your camera flash. The light from the flash itself can be controlled using the buttons on the back. Most people will be happy with the automatic mode. But TTL is a plus, especially if you want to increase or decrease the brightness by 3 levels. The somewhat dim photo of the DVD case was taken with the flash output reduced by three levels. And the bright photo was taken in automatic mode. The advantage of this flash is that if you want to use it off-camera as a "manual only" flash, it actually works with a Yongnuo YN560-TX flash controller based on X.-T1 and Yongnuo RF-603C II set is receive and set to blink. The only downside, of course, is the need to manually set the power and zoom on the flash itself. It comes in a compact pouch that includes a flash, softbox and stand. The battery cover can be a weak point when you put your hands on it, but I close it carefully. Great little flash. Ideal for travel. I would definitely use this flash more often than my Yongnuo handheld flash just for its size and weight.
