The top of the metal aluminum luggage rack - next to the seat - normally folds down to allow attachment of the luggage straps. You can see it in the photo! My apartment! It turned out that the machine tried to bend the part, but not completely. I lifted it up a bit to see if it would bend a little and the post broke, a clean break where they had welded it to the first part of the post frame! He shouldn't have snapped like that before welding! Something is wrong by design and the bend was not completed. Now I have to spend a lot of time to send it back and get a refund for such a cheap thing. What a waste of time, spend a little more and get something of high quality, it's terrible.
