Review on Kingston DataTraveler SE9 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive for Reliable Data Storage (DTSE9H/32GBZ) by Minoru Taguchi ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

Real volume of 14.6 GB, 5 year warranty, Taiwan assembly, write 20 read 25, cost of $570. Real volume of 14.6 GB. It works wonderfully with the Samsung D6100, and the playback speed of mkv files stays the same up to 10 gigabytes. When running in Fat 32 mode, its speed is comparable to that of flash drives released five years ago. This comparison is made for the sake of interest. I'll say it again: the very delay in ntfs is the one thing that brings down the overall impression. Do not pay attention to those who claim that a design of this kind can cause the port to catch fire. Everything is going to be fine because it has been tested using a variety of methods. Purchase with confidence, the quality of style, content, and pricing!

Pros
  • Lightweight and small, sturdy and fashionable appearance, all metal, does not heat up, sits snugly in the port, and the risk of losing it is virtually nonexistent because I instantly set it on the keys.
Cons
  • When converting to ntfs, Windows experiences a slight slowdown, which is not a major issue. After a period of time, the file system might be formatted incorrectly (using HP FormatTool), but I've read that this is common with ntfs on flash drives because the file system is journaled. The fact that the cap is missing is not a major issue.
