I have a central vacuum at home which is great but pulling out the hose and quick suction nozzle takes a little more work than I would like. I saw this and thought it would be perfect for a quick fix and for our cars. The hose we have for our central vacuum cleaner does not fit our vehicles. It comes mostly assembled. It has a sticker on it that tells you how to detach the mug. This sticker is difficult to remove and leaves a lot of residue. It's fine, but you could just put it where the unlock button is on the instructions, or a small round sticker that you wouldn't need to remove. All the power in this block is in the main part. The vacuum cleaner for the floor is not pressure, nothing moves on it, only suction. Ideal for hardwood floors but not carpet (Cleans top of carpet but not deep). It also has two hand attachments with a handy little clip to hold everything together. The cord is long enough that I could get around my living room without having to unplug and plug in other places. However, it doesn't make it into my kitchen, so most have to plug it in in every room they clean. It's very light and convenient for going up stairs or carrying from room to room. The suction power was good. He cleaned the pine needles from my carpet and dog hair from the kitchen floor. I hope my kids will be more willing to clean up after themselves if it's easier than hauling a big car. My only concern was that the engine was quite hot after not running for so long. It didn't overheat but probably lasted 10-15 minutes and it was quite hot. Maybe it was the first time, and when all the parts break a little, it will be cooler. It was very easy to empty the collected dirt and dust, the cup popped out, removed the filter part and shook it out. The instructions show how to remove and clean all the parts, but I don't think I'll do that often unless I really have to. In general it will work. It might not be the best vacuum I've ever used, but for quick cleaning or if you have a small apartment or dorm or need something quick and easy to store away, it does the trick.
