Review on Olde Thompson Caffe Pepper Shaker by Michelle Cooper

I've been using this set long enough to say the pepper mill holds up well to everyday use, producing fine and coarse grinds. A pepper mill is an indispensable part of my kitchen, although I rarely use a salt shaker when cooking. The pepper mill is loaded from above, while the salt shaker is filled from below and sealed with a rubber flange. This is not a perfect design and you need to be sure that this flange is screwed in securely otherwise. I don't like this feature. The simple design made of dark wood is very pleasing and the coordinated set looks beautiful on the table. Since my goal was to replace the pepper mill for cooking and also have a salt shaker on the table, that worked out well. Olde Thompson makes reliable and affordable products.
