Color temperature far away!

I bought warm white bulbs which should give 3000k warm light in the tungson yellow range. It's at least 5000k, which is much closer to blue daylight. If they were the right color temperature that would be great, but they don't even come close to the other 3000 Kelvin bulbs I have in my room. The company seems friendly but the only option I was given was to just return it and for $12 which is a headache. Thus, the search for the same subject that actually has the right color temperature continues.
