Review on Electric Cooktop Induction Burners Independent by Robert Elder

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is a wired built-in hob

When I saw it I guess I didn't read the information about it as carefully as I should have. I had to work hard to get this hob to work for me. I don't have room to secure this and cut a hole to make it permanent. I added rubber feet and had an electrician friend plug into the cooktop for me so I could use it as a portable dual induction cooktop. Low to high heat on each hob is great, and having a timer on each one really helps. The size is perfect for a small tabletop and now that I've made it portable it's also easy to put away when not in use. Easy to clean, convenient to cook over and over, and easy to store in a cupboard, making it my favorite cooktop. It would be easier if they shipped this with options for a wired connection, a network connection, or a portable device. Right now I think it would be good for an RV upgrade, maybe a little break room in the office to heat up soup and whatnot. But for me it needed legs and a fork to make it work great.

Pros
  • 8 power levels and a 99 minute timer
Cons
  • Compatibility
