This light is amazing! I bought it to complement some LED downlights (Xprite pickup lights with custom extensions, 5 pods per side). I needed something to light up the front of the trailer so nobody puts their foot in the hitch at night. I attached it to one of the rails that carried the battery, facing forward, and tied it to the other low light switch. This child radiates a serious light! Now I wish I had bought 10 of these and used them for undercarriage lighting instead. I don't know how much current it draws but my 30 1.5 watt LEDs on the sides of the trailer work right next to this unit without pulling the 5 amp fuse so the current draw can't be high. I installed rather large 4 inch LED headlights on top of my RV's rear bumper as reversing lights and looking back 2 of them mounted discreetly under the bumper would have done a similar job. Note that the metal case gets quite hot with prolonged use, while my other LED lights produce no heat at all. I like that the case is metal, but I'm concerned about heat build-up with continuous use. We'll see how it holds up this tourist season. , but right now I wouldn't install it on a wood or plastic surface just in case.
