We live in an old house (over 100 years old) and it can be drafty. My spoiled bunny is in a big pen, but this pen should be in the corner. In the winter we found that he was curled up all the time and we were amazed that it is quite chilly in there due to the fact that he is on 2 walls. So we got the Chicken Coup Heater but the *explaining* switch lit up! If I had gone to bed 5 minutes earlier we could have had a big house fire! After that we started thinking about what to use to keep him warm. He would have chewed the heating pad for sure. So we found this "light bulb" and I "stole" my husband's long arm lamp. I put him right over his cage (I have a soft thing to sit on) and he sits under it all the time. Sometimes it also spreads all over the body. He loves to. As soon as he feels comfortable and warm, he runs away and does other things. We're so glad it's there, and we think it's a lot safer than the other options for it.
