Buy this and save BIG

My wife dropped one of my 2016 GMC Canyon key sets and the cheap little loop holding the ring to the key fob broke. That's a big deal. Hacked GMC Deals: $115 for a new key fob and $50 for programming. $75 to program it when I bring my new key fob. I'll spare you the swearing, but I never paid for it. I tried Gorilla Glue and it worked for a couple of hours. Then I thought I would. Search the internet and see if I can get a new cheap keychain. Well I finally stumbled across them and in fact I saved myself $155 by buying this and making it myself instead of giving my money to a greedy dealer. . Taking an old keychain apart is a little tricky, but most of the time it requires some force. What you do is take a very small screwdriver (I believe the largest that comes with the eyeglass repair kit) and slip it under the silver pieces on each side of the old key ring. You pump it up there and do the same on the other side and the rest is easy. Simply open the two sides, take the small circuit board and insert it into the new key fob, close the two parts and insert the two new silver parts and you're done. Don't be afraid to try it yourself. CONCLUSION OF THIS: Look something up on the internet and see if it can be done easily and for a lot less than it would cost, or have someone do it for you. Buy this item with confidence, knowing that you can do it and save big bucks in the process.
