This product is well made and has many options to work with different brakes. I needed this for my 2012 MINI Countryman with stock 1 piston brakes. The supplied manual is very primitive and not entirely clear in some aspects. There is no clear indication of which part to use (there are a few plates) to apply back pressure to the other end of the caliper. The terms used are unclear and appear to contradict what is stamped on the toolbox plastic next to each of the panels. The list of cars seems very random and incomplete. There are many little-known cars on the list, but not a single MINI. I read them several times, then went through trial and error. I've found the adapter plate 7 fits my rear brakes (will have to see what I need for the fronts when it comes time to do them). The box holds most, but not all, of the parts securely enough to close without falling out when reopened. I would have bet 5 but the instructions and the box forced me to remove the star.
