I bought this rashguard purely for its sun protection properties. I'm having upper body surgery and I can't afford to damage the skin around my chest. But I also had a vacation planned that included sun, sand and sea. I had to find a solution. This item arrived in time to get me to the shore and it saved my skin. 4 days at the beach, on a surfboard, and on a parasail trip, and this thing proved a champ. When I visited my plastic surgeon upon my return we were surprised to learn that I had spent 4 days in the sun and still had no burns or damage. It did exactly what I hoped it would, matched the description. A quick hand wash every night and then tumble dry and it was ready to go the next day. I no longer go to the beach or lake without them.
