Well I certainly didn't know what to expect from this little bottle but what I got was a great performance. It does an excellent job of restoring faded black plastic. Every car, no matter the car, has plastic parts and I did a great job restoring these plastics on my 2002 car. My car has been meticulously maintained and stored in a garage for many years, so it is in perfect condition. At the same time, a certain deterioration due to age alone cannot be avoided. The plastic has tarnished a bit which has made them like new again. It is very easy to apply and the finish lasts quite a long time afterwards. I always hand wash all my cars and after about three washes the black shine persists. I'm sure this can be used on all types of plastic, not just black surfaces. Black is a good barometer though, because if you can get it back down to a deep black instead of turning into a much less attractive faded grey, you know you've got a good product. My car doesn't have many plastic trim pieces, so I could probably pull a few uses out of this bottle. When you have a lot of plastic, your mind tells you that you can't use it that often. However, it is worth it. I was very impressed with the performance and would recommend it.
