This bagel cutter arrived quickly, is competitively priced and looks pretty solid (I just got it this week; if it ends up breaking or tearing, I will I'll update my review - although I don't expect it). It's easy to use and makes it easy to slice a bagel without putting your fingers or hands at risk. The fingers do not have to approach a very sharp blade. One thing about these types of bagel slicers is that they are difficult to clean. Coatings on onions or other bagels tend to stick to the inside of the cutter and cleaning exposes your fingers to the blade. I am very happy with this bagel cutter.
