These are really solid connectors. I used them to make it easier to connect/disconnect speaker wires in an overhead soundbar. They have a very solid and tactile feel when plugged in, and it takes quite a bit of force to disengage them to prevent accidentally disconnecting them. The soldering was a little tight as there isn't much of a metal preheat connector protruding from the connector, but if you have a good iron this isn't a problem. The plastic did not melt or deform during assembly. The pre-cut shrink wrap that came with it is nice too, but I trimmed it down a bit to give the wires a bit more flexibility at the ends. I also relocated the connectors on each wire of each pair of speakers to reduce bulk.
