For some reason the $100 battery I bought at Wal-Mart had pins that were too thin for the connections on my Pilot. Unfortunately, since I installed it (and didn't pay close attention to the processing), I only found out about it after going through my pilot several times. After identifying the problem, I took it to my local repair shop and was told they could hook up a different connector for a nice price of $85. I knew there must be another way, and that's when I came across this article. Sits like in a dream and the connection is firmly clamped. Since then there have been no problems. And it's good to have a spare as it was 2 packs and I only needed one. By the way, I can't understand why they differ so much in price. Paid about $3 for mine and worth every penny.
