I bought this gas cap because our old gas cap, while working well, was looking tired and I wanted to freshen up the look. After installation, a warning about an open gas cap appeared on the dashboard. I've tried my best several times to get it working without success. My mechanic said the new cap was bad. Put the old cap back on and the warning will go away. I hate giving bad reviews but that was my experience.
