Fits Jeep Wrangler

Finally an inexpensive mount for my application. I've seen others much more expensive and probably a lot more "muscled," but I don't drive my Jeep off-road very often, and it's not my daily driver. (Also, the mount is hidden, so don't buy a prettier one if you expect to see it.) So I guess I can do without this light/medium mount. Installation was pretty easy. The only change I had to make was that my replacement part was very "deep" and I had to go to my major hardware store to get a 4 inch spacer. Otherwise the large Y nut would attach the bar to the bracket. I found my gasket in the electrical department, I think it was part of some kind of electrical conduit or something. I chose metal over the plastic PVC product found in the plumbing department. Also, as you can see in the photo, I decided to paint the "Y" nut red, which is part of my overall color theme for my Jeep. Just tape the plastic ends to keep them black, no need to take them off. To buy this for my jeep I decided not to drop the gas tank and just use the brackets already installed on the jeep. tank) on the U-tube. Overall I am very happy with the mount. Yes, it fills almost the entire bed, but since mine is empty 90% of the time, it's not a huge shape issue.
