Review on Lenovo Tab 4 TB-8504X (2017) 2GB/16GB Aurora Black by Chong Eun Moon ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

A fantastic tablet that is well worth the price for the majority of jobs. I needed a model that was compact, affordable, and lightweight, so I went with the Tab 4 8 and so far I don't have any complaints about my decision. The seventh Android operates quite quickly, and I could not find any slowdowns in any of the applications that I used. The device has a highly appealing appearance and is comfortable to hold in one's palm. The camera on this model is rather unreliable and should only be used for photographing official documents; this limitation is the model's most significant shortcoming. This, of course, can be attributed to the competitive pricing. Consequently, if taking high-quality photographs and films is your primary objective, the tablet is not the right tool for you. On the other hand, if I'm not mistaken, the same camera is included in the Plus version, which retails for approximately 20,000 dollars; presumably, this is a limitation shared by the entire series. Other from that, the tablet has absolutely no detractors at all. The image is of high quality, and the maximum brightness is very high; however, the screen resolution is not the highest available, but this does not detract from the overall experience in any way. The display is 8 inches in size. Even though nearly no low frequencies are present, it is nevertheless a great experience to watch a movie using Atmos sound because the solution itself is very interesting. The tablet is not overloaded with either advertising or a bunch of applications that are not necessary, which is something that Samsung frequently does. The interface is minimalistic and pleasant, and it makes the most of what Android has to offer while making the least possible use of your own creativity. There is no issue with having 16 GB of memory; a flash drive with a capacity of up to 128 GB can be formatted as an expansion of the internal one (class 10 is better, not lower). The only thing that I didn't like about it, other than the camera, was the charging cord, which was ridiculously short and difficult to use, and the charging process itself, which was limited to only one ampere. It seemed like it took quite a long time to charge, which is normal for a tablet with the size of its battery, but even with fairly active use, the device lasted almost two days. In overall, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 can be securely suggested for purchase if you are looking for an affordable tablet that is not designed for gaming but is quite quick for most typical tasks and if you do not intend to take photos or movies with the device.

Pros
  • While not having the greatest resolution, performance, bright and high-quality display, battery life, build quality, and appearance are all strong points.
Cons
  • The 5-megapixel camera is incapable of handling even somewhat intense artificial illumination; the quality of the shots is below ordinary, and the device brought to mind push-button phones from the early 2022s. The charging cord is short and stiff, and the charger itself only provides 1A.
