The hat is a little loose but I expected that. It is a comfortable hat, lightweight for summer, and is very well made. It has enough extra fabric on top to look like a newsboy style but not so much that I'm left trying to figure out what to do with it. I'm 61 and wanted something that looks classy. This does. I got it in black. I'm going back for beige and the denim blue. I got it mostly for weekend drives with friends (British car club--in the US) but I like it so well I'm using it for everyday use too.
