Overall this is a great bookshelf. The boards were real wood, the tubes were real metal, and it was ridiculously easy to put together. You'll probably need two people to attach it to the wall, but I was able to screw all the tubes and shelves together myself. However, there were a few (very minor) issues that I would like to point out. For example, the wood is not as dark and rich as it appears in the picture, so I need to take that into account before ordering. On one side it's more of a medium matte brown, while the polished side has a more yellow hue and the wood grain is highlighted in white. However, the shelves can be fixed in any way, so you need to consider two options when installing them. Another issue concerns the supplies that come with the bookshelf, which are meant to be screwed to the wall. Wall anchors are pretty cheap to be honest, they work great if you have a stud to drill into, but when used on plain drywall the screws push them all the way in and they get lost in your wall. I would seriously recommend buying good quality chords rather than using what they send you. hard stuff :)
