Review on πŸ”ͺ TSUBOE Japanese Copper Grater DO-070 Mini: Authentic Small Kitchen Tool, Japan Import by Marisa Lynn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A smaller grater like this lets you work in a smaller size.

This grater is very small. I don't know what I was expecting, but it looked bigger in the photo! Having used it a few times I can now fully appreciate its size and realize that instead of a much larger grater that would scatter garlic or ginger all over the place when I grate it and which would be harder to clean, a smaller one Grate something like this forces you to work in a smaller area. This keeps grated/chopped ginger and garlic in a smaller area, making them easier to harvest. Unlike the fine grater I've used in the past, grinding spices on this grater won't cut your fingers. The tiny blades are shaped differently and while not sharp, they do an excellent job of sharpening.
