They were a bit difficult to install. However, they turned out exactly how I imagined. As you can see we had a very LARGE L shaped window, not a bay window. I bought two sets and just spliced them together to make a LONG straight pole. The hard part was figuring out which poles could go where. We didn't use the tips that came with it. We had some of the other poles that were larger and just connected them to the end. I will say the tips that came with the rod were a bit small but for the price I think overall it was a good buy with quality materials. We looked at a similar rod from Kohl's for our window size and the price was an outrageous $293.99. I bought two of these and still haven't broken the bank.
