These discs really do hold 800MB or 90 minutes of audio. A CD-R cannot identify itself as being over 80 minutes due to a limitation in the ATIP structure, so when inserted into a CD burner they appear as 80 minute discs. To get more capacity you need a CD burner and software that supports rewriting (I've used LiteOn iHAS524 B and K3B with cdrtools, but any new drive and software that supports rewriting should work). Once recorded, they can be played back like a normal disc. Unlike 99 minute discs, these discs work in my car player (2009 Honda Civic).
