Review on CURT 56152 Custom Wiring Connector by James Jones

I bought one of these on 09/12/2014. Worked well for 14 months. Then something went wrong and my trailer's right brake light was on all the time, even when the car was completely off. I thought, "OK, it just went wrong." Since it was a really simple plug-n-play install, I ordered a 10-1-16 replacement. Until today, 04/15/17, everything worked. I hadn't hooked up a trailer, but it had a short circuit and blown the fuses for the navigation lights, turn signals, hazard warning lights and brake lights. This forced us to cut short our trip to see our son. I won't buy the 3rd. I'll look for another brand and see if it works better.
