I use a HomeSeer HS3 system, mostly with Insteon equipment. I already had a battery-powered Insteon Motion Sensor II in my laundry room, but I wanted to put it in a closet and replace it with this one for two reasons: 1) it doesn't need batteries, and 2) it's impossible to find the Insteon Motion Sensor II now. Integration with HomeSeer was a breeze and it worked almost perfectly out of the box. I had no issues with the LED interfering with motion detection; I used a green LED to let me know it saw movement when I tested it and I left it because it had a high WAF. Turning the LED on and off doesn't seem to cause any unwanted movement. Registering the movement itself takes a little longer than the Insteon Motion Sensor II, but I think this is primarily due to its orientation in space; It's not aimed directly at the door, so people have to walk a few steps into the room for the sensor to recognize them. It would be nice if the sensor could be oriented at least a bit as the device has a fixed orientation, but other than that I was very happy with it.
