Review on TRIXIE Pet Products Montoro Tree by Crystal Murphy

When the scratching post arrived it smelled pretty bad. Bad smell but you could smell it when you entered the room. None of my 5 cats will have anything to do with it. I know other buyers have said they haven't had this issue, so it may have been something the box came with. After a few weeks the smell was gone and they were covering every inch of the tree. Some of my cats weigh around 9 pounds and I was afraid they wouldn't climb into a high bed or small apartment, but I was wrong. Someone is always in one or both. And they all like the big shelf upstairs. I'm very glad I bought this tree and gave it some time to air out. I assembled it myself so anyone should be able to handle it. You don't use a ladder, but it does help stabilize the device.
