Almost as good as the leash I dream of. I wanted a smaller fastener that wouldn't hit the dog. This is the smallest strong clasp I've found. I wasn't expecting such a big pen. It is perfectly padded and durable. It fits perfectly in your hand. It's also easy and convenient to wrap the leash around your hand when a shorter leash is needed. Luna has 56 pounds of muscle mass and I use harnesses that don't interfere with traction. But it puts every great clasp on the shoulder. A smaller but stronger clasp avoids this problem. (In my imagination there will be a flashlight and dog bags on a leash.)
