. This is the best for running in the cold! My wife, who wasn't blessed with fluffy ears, was worried about getting cold while running outdoors this winter. As a wonderful husband, I was looking for a warm, comfortable solution that would withstand movement. As in everyday life, I couldn't make the right decision without their help and bought foldable back of the head plugs, a fluffy headband and these mittens with ears. As it turns out, she avoids the headband because it warms her forehead and is uncomfortable with her hair pulled up, and the foldable set, while warm, isn't as comfortable to wear as it sounds. In the end, over-ear headphones win. They pack easily and are actually warm enough to walk in the cold (although cold is relative - Texas winters are mild, 30-50*F). And to answer runners' biggest concern: yes. They'll last for miles on runs and jogs, even when pulled by dogs (if you're the right size, of course). So if you were born without hair on your ears, don't worry, you too can run outside without using your hair to soothe the cold. dearest furry friends.
