Their monoi formula is much more effective when it comes to strengthening and conditioning damaged/over-treated hair. This product has made my hair stiff and has a strong strong smell. From the bottle it smelled really bad, like a strong cheap perfume, but when I used it in the shower I noticed more natural notes of almonds and maybe coconut, but after I washed it off the only thing left was, the artificial perfume . The smell was so strong, even after drying, that I received several comments during the day from people in the office who thought I was wearing a very strong and unpleasant smelling baby powder based perfume. I love this company's products and even though they are more than double the price, I'm sticking with the monoi formula. I figured this would save me some money since it's the same company and promises similar results, but the products couldn't be more different.
